Indian music composer and vocalist, Amit Trivedi, renowned for his work in Bollywood, is poised to mark his debut in Kannada cinema with "Uttarakaanda." Trivedi will be lending his expertise to the two-part crime saga directed by Rohith Padaki.

In "Uttarakaanda," Dhananjaya takes on the lead role, while seasoned actor Shivarajkumar is slated to portray a significant character. The movie is backed by producers Karthik Gowda and Yogi G Raj, operating under the banner KRG Studios. This production company made its debut in 2021 with the family-centric drama "Rathnan Prapancha," starring Dhananjaya and directed by Padaki.
